1. The source and intensity of the odour are first determined. The carpet is then rinsed in hot water, then vacuumed so as to extract the majority of the urine crystals.
2. In the most severe cases, the carpet is lifted at specially identified points in order to evaluate the extent of the damage. *
3. Where necessary, the underlay will be removed and replaced.*
4. A sealant may be applied to the floor underneath if this is considered essential. *
5. A large quantity of P.U.R.T. will then be applied to the grip rods, the floor underneath, the skirting boards and the carpet backing. A large enough quantity of the product is necessary so that all the areas affected are soaked.*
6. During the 24 to 36 hours following application, the ingredients of the P.U.R.T will act on the urine by decomposing the elements responsible for the odours.
